Home College St. Joseph BoP Initiative Team speaks at first Trainer Cert event for colleges St. Joseph BoP Initiative Team speaks at first Trainer Cert event for colleges Pictured:  Cathy Lenor, Phil DeVol, Doreen Henderson, Bonnie Bazata, Karla Krodel.  Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana hosted the first Trainer Certification event for college trainers February 23-25, 2011.  Doreen Henderson and Cathy Lenor, both GA graduates, spoke about their Getting Ahead and college experiences.  Doreen now works at Ivy Tech and is a co-facilitator of Getting Ahead.  She "recruited" Cathy to attend Getting Ahead while she was attending Ivy Tech.  Bonnie Bazata, Executive Director of the Bridges initiative in St. Joseph County, shared how the Brides Initiative is working with the Ivy Tech campus in South Bend to help students stay in college until they get their degrees.
